Goals of the Center for Organic Agriculture 

The primary geographic focus for the center is the state of Florida. The goals for the center are to:

1) Facilitate multi-disciplinary, multi-institutional research programs that will provide the scientific basis for organic food and fiber production.

2) Collate and disseminate science-based information about organic farming principles and practices from the University of Florida, other land grant institutions, the United States Department of Agriculture and other public and private research institutions.

3) Incorporate an appropriate focus on organic production practices and processes in current and new undergraduate and graduate-level courses offered by the University of Florida.
